• With the DA30-5 articulated dump truck, you’ll move more materials faster, work harder in tough conditions and navigate roadways and difficult terrain with ease.

• The unique DEVELON truck design with a front-mounted turning ring, sloping rear frame and free-swinging rear tandem bogie provides better weight distribution and ensures permanent six-wheel contact with the ground. The limited slip differential provides the highest torque to the wheel, with the best grip for extreme performance in off-road conditions.

• To protect against overloading, a standard active payload meter uses traffic light indicators to alert operators.

• The DA30-5 includes a hydro-gas, self-leveling front suspension system for superior performance and greater shock absorption. The new system provides a smoother ride and increased operator comfort, especially when operating an empty truck. The system is self-leveling and gives you the option to change characteristics by adjusting the pressure.

• When it’s time to head out to another job, this truck’s less-than-10-foot width means it can be transported easily from site to site.

• Easy service access makes routine maintenance and required daily service checks more convenient. Features include ground-level fuel and DEF fill, more accessible power module and centralized maintenance panel.

• Common oil is used in the wheel hubs, tandem rear bogie and limited slip differential, and grease distribution is improved to reduce grease requirements. A diesel-powered engine heater and fuel pump are available options. The DA30-5 articulated dump truck includes DEVELON Fleet Management that monitor the machine’s productivity, location and overall health via free cellular service available for the life of the truck.

• Comfort features include fully automatic climate control, air suspension seat, good visibility, precise steering and low noise levels. Ergonomic controls are at your fingertips for easy operation, and the automotive-like soft-touch dashboard is easier to keep clean.

• The vehicle control unit offers more robust hardware, a faster processor and more input channels. The monitor displays critical information, including speed, engine rpm, machine warnings and more — with larger gauges, user-friendly icons and the ability to display multiple camera views. Standard features include electrically adjustable mirrors and a mobile USB charger.

• The DA30-5 articulated dump truck incorporates a high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel delivery system as well as cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR) to reach Tier emissions standards.
